I, and I'm sure everyone else, can't believe the end of the year is here already! This is my first year teaching and I had assumed it would feel longer, it's flown by! I'm already dreading leaving for the summer, I will miss everyone! We are wrapping up our Theme Park design drawings, working on Race for Education posters, and finishing up unfinished work in both schools. There are tons of work to hand back! I often keep work in order to have some available for shows or display when needed, so students will be getting back work from long ago--some even from October! Thank you for being so patient! I think for next year I will keep the work and we will have art shows twice in the year at both schools. We had an Anti-drug poster contest show for 6th grade at St. John's and a large art show at Binghamton City Hall but I understand that its often hard with schedules and visiting new places for these events. Our plan is to have shows only at the respective schools from now on, hosting an art night.
Here are some pictures from our wrapping classes up since I don't see all of the classes very often, about once a week.
